Who we are
TrendStack ("we", "us") operates trendstackapp.com, a subscription service that surfaces trending audio, hashtags, and content ideas for social media creators. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account info: your email address, and profile info from Google if you sign in with Google.
- Billing info: when you subscribe, Stripe collects your name, billing address, phone number, and card details directly — we never see or store your raw card number.
- Usage data: searches, saved trends, and links you submit to Explore, Create a Post, and Analyze a Post, so we can show your history and enforce fair-use rate limits.
- Cookies & local storage: used to keep you signed in and to remember your subscription status so pages load without a flash of the wrong content.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, and verify your subscription.
- To process payments and manage billing through Stripe.
- To generate the trend data, hashtag stacks, and post ideas you request, using our own analysis and third-party data sources (YouTube, Spotify, Wikipedia, Google Trends) and Anthropic's Claude API for content analysis.
- To send account-related emails (billing receipts, password resets) via Supabase and Stripe.
Advertising & cookies
We may show ads on this site through Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.
Who we share data with
We share data only with the service providers that make TrendStack work: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (content analysis), Vercel (hosting), and — if ads are enabled — Google AdSense. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us below.
Your choices
You can update your account details, cancel your subscription anytime from Stripe's billing portal, or request that we delete your data. Cancelling your subscription stops future billing but does not automatically delete your account.
Children's privacy
TrendStack is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
